Technical Details

CIVIL

EXCAVATION
After marking the outline of the swimming pool, excavation is carried out as per the requirement with extra allowance for the various equipment that are required to be installed in the structure e.g. main drain, light housings, skimmers, pipelines, wiring conduits etc.

P.C.C
Plain cement concrete 4" is laid on the base of the whole swimming pool in the ratio of 1:4:8.

B.B.M.
According to the structural details 9" of burnt masonry is erected to form the preliminary wall of the swimming pool with allowance for the insertion of light housing, skimmers, inlets, plumbing and wiring conduits required for the swimming pool. The B.B.M. provides additional strength to the structure.

R.C.C.
Steel for reinforcement as required by our structural design is laid on the base and wall area of the swimming pool. Shuttering is placed on the inside of the swimming pool wall after which concrete is poured all over as per the structural details. The concrete is a rich mix of M200 specification into which Ditchtament D.M (liquid product name) is mixed, which makes the concrete watertight and allows higher dispersion and plasticity.

PLASTER
A plaster of minimum 25mm thickness in the ratio of 1:4 is provided into which roof liquid (product's name) is mixed which is a mortar plastisizer & integral waterproofing agent which makes the mortar water tight and also provides good workability. In all the structure, as such becomes watertight.

CHEMICAL TREATMENT
The surface of the joint area e.g. floor and wall will be treated with Roff liquid (product's name) to ensure proper sealing of all overlap joints.

TILING
Tiles, which we have assumed, are glazed tiles 6" x 6" or 8" x 6" size of blue colour with a border of darker shade tile at the surface.

DECKING
The area around the pool is laid with P.C.C up to 75 cm wide over which checkered tiles is provided, colour and design of your choice and depending on the availability of materials.

COPING
The edge of the swimming pool will have a coping of 20 cm wide with natural stone.

FILTERATION EQUIPMENT

SKIMMER
The skimmer is made of F.R.P. which has a P.V.C basket to trap all the in dissolvable floating material in water. The lid is of F.R.P. mirror polished. A weir of polypropylene is attached to the mouth of the skimmer, which adjusts itself automatically to the level of water enabling the skimmer to suck in all, floating materials on the water surface.

INLETS
The inlets are of PVC with nylon flange – they are placed in such a manner as to create water currents to ensure proper circulation of water.

MAIN DRAIN
The main drain is made of FRP (a hydrostatic pressure relief valve which releases the sub soil water pressure into the main drain housing is fitted in the main drain in case of sub soil water pressure problems) & is connected to the filtration system. The main drain has a S.S. anti vortex grating (mirror polished).

HAIR & LINT STRAINER
The Hair and Lint strainer is made of F.R.P. which prevents all in dissolvable material especially hair and lint (fabric fibers) from entering the pump. It has a PVC basket to trap all such material with a transparent cover (acrylic) for inspection and fitted with butterfly nuts to enable easy maintenance.

PUMP
The pump is a centrifugal mono block slow speed type. (For make refer quotation)

FILTER
The filter is made of F.R. Polyester Resin. DAZZLING POOLS make. Wall thickness is of an average of 6mm & designed as a pressure vessel. The filter operates at a maximum of 2 Kg per sqcm. It consists of a diffuser made of PVC, FRP strainer, breather hose, pressure gauge, pressure relief valve & a air release valve. The filter medium is quartz sand.

MULTI-PORT VALVE
The multi port valve is made of PVC and is imported. It has five functions, which are necessary for filtration

CHEMICAL DOSER
The chemical doser works with the help of the pump suction, which is fitted on the main inlet pipeline. A chemical reservoir also is provided.

LIGHTS
The under water lights are made of F.R. Polyester Resin. DAZZLING POOLS make. The light hood is equipped with a 1.5mtr long cable to enable the light to be brought out of the water for maintenance and change of bulb. The current required is of 24V to ensure the safety of swimmers; The Wattage of the light is 150W

LADDERS
The ladders are made of S. S. 304 grade 38mm dia tube, mirror finished. The rungs for the ladders are F.R.P with an anti-skid pattern; they come in a range of colours.

SUCTION SWEEPER
The suction sweeper brush head is made of F.R. Polyester with nylon bristle brushes, (and wheels depending on model), telescopic aluminum handle. Dirt and in dissolvable particles are sucked up by the suction sweeper and carried to the filtration plant. The suction sweeper operates with the help of the same filtration pump through a vacuum point provided on the wall of the pool, hence no extra pump is required.

LEAF RAKE
The leaf rake is the swimming pool maintenance person’s friend, it consists of a nylon netted basket attached to an aluminum handle – making it light and easy to operate. It comes in handy to rake out any floating material from the surface of the water.

PLUMBING MATERIAL
The plumbing material is PVC of minimum 6 Kg per sqcm any ISI make.

TEST KIT
We will be providing you with a test kit, which will enable you to check the pool water periodically, which is necessary to maintain hygienic water. We will also provide a complete service and maintenance manual, which will guide you to take care of your swimming pool.
